Allies and French Cavalry

A company from the Brunswick 1st Infantry Regiment, a company of Hanoverian light troops and a nearly complete regiment (the 2nd) of French dragoons, The regiment is finished but I took the photo's this afternoon which was wet and windy and the last few kept falling off the roof of my car, which is where the pictures are taken.

Painting has slowed down of late as we a rebuilding a representation of La Haye Sainte. This will be a sort of look similar model rather than an accurate replica.

Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment - thanks Bill!

  1. Hi Eric - would like to see how you're constructing that building; I just tend to paint soldiers so making buildings is like the dark arts as far as I'm concerned! A pal of mine uses fibre board bought from an art shop to make his buildings - just wondered what you used. What rules are you intending to use for your game?

  2. Bill, I'll take some photos's of La It'aint this week and publish on this blog. As to rules still ruminating, with around a thousand (hopefully) figures I want something simple without complex casualty calculations - Eric.
